Warbling Vireo 

 

Vireo gilvus 

Physical Description: 

Measures 5 inches long. It has a slender body. Dark eyes. The bill is grey, relatively short, and slightly hooked. Both male and female have a light grey top and white underbelly. Sometimes separating the white and grey are light yellow hues. 

Habitat: 

Deciduous woodlands near water
 

Voice:

Series of rapidly slurred whistles
