Eastern White Pine
Pinus strobus
This is by far the most common and also the tallest evergreen found in Westford. Trunk is straight, and branches grow out horizontally.
Needles:
Slender, green-blue, and grow in bunches of 5. They are soft and flexile
Pinecones:
Long, cylindrical, and yellow brown in color. 4 - 8” in length, and each individual seed on the cone does not have prickles
