Common Grackle 

 

Quiscalus quiscula 

Physical Description: 

Grackles look like a longer blackbird or a shinier crow. They are 12 inches long and have very long tails. Larger beak comparatively to the head and is slightly hooked. 

Habitat: 

Open areas, parks, agricultural fields.

Voice: 

Screechy squawk and a high pitched whistle.
