Physical description:
Medium sized Kingfisher measuring 13 inches in length. They have sturdy bodies and a large head. This large head is exaggerated by the large tuft on their heads. They have large black beaks that are equivalent in measure to the width of their skull. They have a blue head and a white neck. They have a blue belt that extends across their chest. They have a white underbelly. Beneath their wings is an orange brown color. Their legs and talons are comparatively small with the rest of their body.
Habitat:
Edge of water: lakes, rivers, marshes.
Voice:
Rapid succession of harsh notes
